Celebrating the life of
Saturnino Venezuela Gavina, Jr.
September 22, 1929 - September 26, 2012
Honorable Saturnino Venezuela "Sat" Gavina, Jr., age 83, a Municipal Councilor of the Municipality of Pozzorubio, Pangasinan and retired District Supervisor of the different school districts of the Province of Pangasinan, Philippines, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. The family wants him to be remembered as a great leader, excellent educator, mentor, good advisor full of wisdom, always ready to help and share his talents and resources. But most of all he was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lolita P. Gavina and a son, Nolito P. Gavina.
Survivors are one son, Herr Silva P. Gavina and two daughters-in-law, Lilibeth B. Mercado of North Vancover, British Columbia, Canada and Thelma A Jocson Gavina of Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines and one daughter, Alili P. Gavina and one son-in-law, Walter A. Weed of Savannah and with eleven grandsons and three granddaughters and five great-grandsons.
In addition he was preceded in death by two brothers, Conrado and Manuel and is survived by his brothers, Juanito, Carlos, Benigno, Jose and two sisters, Percy and Fe.
His remains will be transferred to the Philippines for burial and Memorial Services. His loving memories will be cherished forever.
